A stretchable composite sheet for use as a waistline region of a disposable wearable article, said stretchable composite sheet comprising: a first member which is a sheet that has a stretchability; and a second member which is a sheet of a lower stretchability than the first member, wherein the first member has a pair of edge portions opposite to each other in a cross direction and bonded to the second member in a thickness direction while the first member is drawn along a drawing direction orthogonal to the cross direction from an end to another end of the first member and contracted in the cross direction.
